AirIndia Trolls IndiGo but deletes tweets.

New Delhi:  While the low-cost airline “Indigo” continues to face censure over last months incident, the video of the assault was posted online. AirIndia Trolls IndiGo. Another rival airline, took a subtle dig on the airline on Twitter. In two tweets, now deleted, the national carrier trolled IndiGo after a video of one of its staffers assaulting a passengers went viral.

Air India posted two ads for the same, trolling the assault incident .In one of the ads , Air India promised “UNBEATABLE SERVICE”, with the letters “Beat” highlighted in blue. Blue being the theme color of IndiGo (nice one !) .

The second ad includes AirIndia mascot -“Maharaja”, in his trademark style. And the tag line below the maharaja said- ” We raise our hands only to say namaste”.

Both the ads have been deleted but the airline hasn’t distanced itself from the two ads.

After the video of IndiGo ground staff assaulting and manhandling a passenger at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International airport went viral, memes, fake Jet Airways advertisement posters and sarcastic jibes were quick to follow on the Internet.

Also seen on Twitter was an ad for Jet Airways that said – “we beat our competition, not you”. The private airline clarified that it had nothing to do with what happened with the other airline. But it is still being shared and talked about on Twitter. AirIndia Trolls IndiGo and now same done by JetAirways.

Meanwhile , on Twitter many customers boycott the airline due to the viral assault video.

IndiGo has apologized to the ministry and admitted that it is at fault . But they defended the employee saying that “he was doing his job”.

Lets hope the airline gains the trust of its customers soon.
